More than the sum
of strokes of homespun
dumb luck over months
and months having tons
of fun gurgling up
from counterculture
like alien abductors
not mattering much
to the far-flung rebuffed
by the anatomy
and musculature
of a washed-up
four-tusked walrus
seen close up
suggestive of
tree stumps
and pond scum
as outcomes
by the dozen...
