To avoid a tie already on edge
as security checks for the all-ready
tense unanswered questions
having been left unaddressed
dedicated to general elections
as seen at-the-ready to a large extent
teetering on ledges of secret ledgers
for past transgressions yet settling
skeptically for the less preferable
being plotted against by co-ordinated efforts
ending in ineffectual conventions post runners' tests
tallied under protests all hands on deck...
